Holden V8 Race Experience
Ever wanted to experience the absolute rush of driving a 6-speed manual 5700cc V8 Holden VY Commodore racecar with a full roll cage, race seats, race suspension, race brakes, premium Bridgestone race tyres and full V8 Supercar aero package on one of New Zealand's premier race circuits? Then look no further. This is a V8 fanatic's dream come true. Upon arrival, you are outfitted in a race suit and safety helmet and you then feel your adrenaline rise, as you're strapped into the full race seat for some demonstration laps with the Holden Race Instructor. Learn from a racing professional on how to corner at speed, shift gears, gauge braking points and more.
Your experience then goes up yet another notch to extreme, when you climb into the pilots hot seat to drive four exhilarating laps behind the wheel of our mighty V8 beast around the Pukekohe circuit under the expert in-car guidance of a three times national champion and Holden Race Instructor.
This is unlike anything you've ever experienced. Put yourself in the Holden Hot Seat - you won't wipe the smile from your dial for weeks!

Vital Details:
Must be aged 16 years or over, have a current drivers licence and have experience in operating a manual transmission.
Our V8 Holden race vehicles have extra wide designer race seats, which can easily accommodate individuals with a larger build.
This high-speed motorsport activity is not recommended for participants with any pre-existing back or neck injuries, adverse medical conditions or who are in the advanced stages of pregnancy.
The Weather:
This activity will generally proceed wet or fine.
Occasional extreme weather or track conditions may cause the event to be postponed, in which case you will be rescheduled.
Session Length:
2 demonstration laps followed by 4 flying laps with you driving the V8 race vehicle.
Please allow approx one hour for this activity.
Numbers:
You will enjoy one on one tuition with your instructor during your allocated slot time.
There will be other participants at the track with you on the day.
Dress Code:
Please dress in comfortable clothing appropriate for weather conditions and wear full shoes.
All safety equipment, race suit and safety helmets are provided onsite.

(Trackside building adjacent to pit lane exit)
Spectators:
Friends and spectators are welcome.
There is ample room for spectators to watch and take photos from the trackside.
Availability:
This experience is only conducted on set weekdays, each month, throughout the year.
Prior bookings are essential & due to popular demand, it is highly advisable to book early. You need to pre-book your date and receive a pre-allocated attendance time in order to participate.

A reasonable minimum level of physical driving ability and competence in operating a manual transmission is compulsory in order to undertake this activity.
