River crossings - shingle banks - farm tracks - hill climbs and of course breathtaking natural views combine to give you the thrill of your life. You will cross the Hanmer River to view the spectacular towering chasms of the stunning Blue Cliffs and the most incredible rock formations.
Then comes a stomach churning ride up a natural shingle scree spilling 400m down from the surrounding hillside. Travel up the farm track to a high plateau and enjoy magnificent panoramic views before more river crossings on the homeward stretch.
Quad Bike experiences do not get any better than this!

Vital Details:
You must be 16 years or over to drive a quad bike. No previous experience is necessary but some driving experience is preferred. All trips are escorted and include tuition in the safe operation of motorbikes There are no medical restrictions for this activity but you must inform the operator of any medical condition before the tour begins. You may not drink alcohol prior to driving a quad bike.
The Weather:
Quad biking can take place in most weather conditions. However, if in doubt, always contact the operator before leaving home.
Numbers:
You may be accompanied by other participants for this experience. Due to the nature of the ride and in order to give personal attention, the number of participants is limited to four.
Getting There:
Transport from the village is provided. Normal pick up is outside Hanmer Information centre.
