The Experience
If you are going to skydive, then why not do it right! Jump from the an incredible altitude of 16,000ft in the Bay of islands!
The Bay of Islands is the best place to jump out of a plane! It is the warmest skydive location in all of New Zealand, offers the most magnificent views and allows you to skydive from 3 miles high!
Instruction begins with a short briefing, then you and your instructor share a tandem harness, freefalling from 16,000 feet at speeds of 120 mph (200kph) or more. After almost a minute of freefall, your instructor will open the dual-sized parachute, and together you’ll fly back to the ground for a soft landing.
Be sure to ask check the options and add a DVD and photographs of your tandem skydive. Remember, you only have one FIRST jump; once you have landed it’s too late.
This is a memory to last a lifetime. A feeling you will want to relive over and over again!

How long to plan for:
Please allow 2-3 hours for your total skydiving experience.
What to wear:
Comfortable clothing and shoes – workout clothes, shorts and a t-shirt is recommended; jeans are restricting to leg movement. You will be wearing a jumpsuit over your clothing. If you wear contact lenses or prescriptions glasses tell your instructor so that the instructor can fit you with appropriate goggles.
