This is a chance for you to bring along two of your friends to share the experience of a flight in a Cessna 172 with you at the controls. This is a one hour scenic flight over Auckland City. You will have a short briefing before the flight and then take the controls with the help of a qualified instructor who will guide you during your flight and for take-off and landing.

This introduction to flying is suitable for anyone aged 10 years and over. The maximum weight for this experience will need to be confirmed when booking.

The Weather:
Flying is weather dependent and may be cancelled during adverse conditions.
You are strongly advised to telephone the operator on the morning of your flight to confirm that the activity is taking place. Contact details will be supplied to you during the booking process. In the event that your flight is cancelled, you will be able to liaise with the operator directly to arrange an alternative booking.

You may be accompanied by other participants during your on-ground briefing but will enjoy one-on-one tuition during your actual flight.
Getting There:
You are required to make your own way to the airfield. Public transport is available by bus and train to Papakura, then taxi to Ardmore Airfield.

You may have 2 people in the aircraft with you.

Availability:
This activity can take place all year round, subject to weather conditions. It is recommended that you book well in advance if you wish to fly over a weekend or have a specific date in mind.
Please note when you book in for a date the height and weight of the passenger needs to be provided at the time of booking otherwise the booking cannot be booked or confirmed.
The maximum weight for this experience is 110kgs and maximum height is 2 meters.

Please allow 1.5 hours for your total experience. Flight time is one hour.
