The rush that comes with freefalling combined with the amazing tranquillity of the parachute descent makes skydiving a unique and unforgettable experience. The thrill and excitement of your skydive will last for days and will create a memory of a lifetime!
You will be introduced to your professional (a.k.a. your Tandem Master) who will be strapped to your back for your skydive. He/she will fit you into your jump suit and harness while explaining the procedures you need to know before you hop in the plane. You have nothing to worry about as all our Tandem Masters are professionals and have jumped countless times before.
It’s now all about to hit you as you board the plane and ascend to an altitude of 12,000ft above New Zealand's most scenic destination... the most beautiful Queenstown! This is what you have been waiting for! The eagerness of actually skydiving is all about to come true!
Once altitude has been reached, it’s time for the all anticipated SKYDIVE! You are about to jump from the plane into thin air!!!
Your Tandem Master will be in control so you don’t have to do anything, but smile! The door of the plane opens and you and your Jumpmaster will jump out of the plane and begin the exhilarating freefall at speeds reaching up to 200kph.
You will freefall through the sky for approximately 45 seconds. After that time, your parachute will gently be released and you will safely glide through the sky on your decent back to your landing spot. Our takeoff spot and landing is at the base of the Remarkables Mountain Range.
