Vital Details:
This course takes place at Glengarry Wine’s state of the art tasting facility. The course is broken into distinctive sessions, summarised as follows:
Week one - Introduction to wine making and wine tasting, identifying sensations and taste components, assessing aromas/flavours, wine tasting terms and language.
Week two - the notion of 'terroir', wine regions of New Zealand and Australia, white wine and red wine varieties.
Week three - Champagne and Methode Traditionnelle styles and examples, wine with food, cellaring wine, screwcaps vs corks.
