The Experience
This surf school is mobile giving you access to the best learning conditions (East or West coast) around the Auckland area. Learn about rips, holes and undertows, how to identify them, escape them and use them to your advantage. You will also learn the difference between offshore and onshore winds, afternoon sea breezes, tides, and surfing rules. All these tricks of the trade will help prepare you to stand up and get out there on your own.
The New Zealand certified Surfing coaches are in the water with you at all times to make you feel comfortable and reach that ultimate goal and unreal feeling of standing and catching your first wave!
Your experience includes one full day surfing adventure including; 2x 2 hour surf lessons, surfboard, wetsuit, surf safety and surfing rules. Student to instructor ratio is 7:1, so you are guaranteed safety and attention.

No previous surfing experience is necessary, but all participants need to be able to swim and have a moderate fitness level.
Meeting Point and transfers are from central Auckland.
How long to plan for:
Please allow a full day for your surfing lesson. If we surf the west coast beaches, your experience will be approximately 7 hours. If we head east, it will be around 9 hours.
What to wear:
Please wear a bathing suit and warm clothes for before and after your lesson. Wetsuits will be provided. We also recommended bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and a beach towel.
