Vital Details:
You must be at least 8 years of age and confident in the water to swim with the dolphins.
The Weather:
All cruises are subject to suitable weather and sea conditions. These will be assessed prior to your cruise departure time. You are advised to contact the operator before leaving home.
Numbers:
You are likely to be accompanied by other participants. Group sizes in the water range from 2 to 10 people.
Getting There:
Akaroa is approx 90 minutes from Christchurch via Highway 75. Self drive options are available through local rental car operators . There are regular shuttles which depart from Christchurch. Tours depart from the main wharf.
Spectators:
Spectators are welcome to view from the vessel for an additional fee.

For safety reasons, this activity is not suitable for those with special needs.

In the event that you do not see any dolphins a full refund is provided. If you see dolphins but can’t swim with them, then a part refund is applicable.

What to wear:
You will need to bring swimwear and a towel. Wetsuits, masks and snorkels are provided. We suggest you take warm clothing, as even on warm days, there may be a cool sea breeze blowing. Sunscreen and a hat are a must, even if it’s cloudy.
